# The Charities (Northern Ireland) Order 2007, Article 60: Interpretation of Part VII


(1) In this Part—
“land” means land in Northern Ireland;
“mortgage” includes a charge; and
“rent-charge” means a periodical payment charged on land.
(2) Nothing in Article 61 or 62 applies to any disposition of land by way of mortgage or other security.
