Article 1 Citation, commencement and extent

This Order may be cited as the Climate Change (Targeted Greenhouse Gases) Order 2022.

Subject to paragraph (3), this Order comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Articles 2 and 3(2) come into force immediately after article 3(3) comes into force.

This Order extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, except as provided in paragraphs (5) and (6).

Article 4(1) does not extend to Northern Ireland.

Article 4(2) extends to Northern Ireland only.
