# The Coasting Schools (England) Regulations 2016, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Regulations laid before Parliament under section 182(3)(aza) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1
The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 60B(2) and (3) and 181(2)(a) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 and section 2B(5) of the Academies Act 2010.
In accordance with section 182(3)(aza) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 a draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
