Paragraph 11 Transport Act 1985 (c.67)
The Transport Act 1985f1 is amended as follows.
In section 76(1) (audit of accounts of public transport companies in England and Wales), for “being eligible for such appointment in accordance with Part II of the Companies Act 1989” substitute “meeting the requirements of Part 42 of the Companies Act 2006 (statutory auditors)”.
In section 77(2) (audit of accounts of public transport companies in Scotland), for “being eligible for such appointment in accordance with Part II of the Companies Act 1989” substitute “meeting the requirements of Part 42 of the Companies Act 2006 (statutory auditors)”.
