  "text": "(1) Section 10 of the Transport Act 1981 (provisions of the Companies Acts applying to Associated British Ports) is amended as follows.\n(2) In subsection (1)—\n(a) for “the Companies Acts 1948 to 1980” substitute “the Companies Acts”;\n(b) for “the Companies Acts 1948 to 1981” substitute “the Companies Act 1985”.\n(3) For subsection (2) substitute—\n“(2) The provisions referred to in subsection (1) are the following—\nSubject matter\nProvisions applied\n1. Financial assistance for purchase of shares, &c.\nChapter 6 of Part 5 of the Companies Act 1985.\n2. Registration of charges.\nChapter 1 of Part 12 of the Companies Act 1985.\n3. Accounts and reports.\nPart 15 of the Companies Act 2006.\n4. Audit.\nPart 16 of the Companies Act 2006.\n5. Disclosure by directors of interests in contracts, &c.\nChapter 3 of Part 10 of the Companies Act 2006.\n6. Power of Court to give relief in certain cases.\nSection 1157 of the Companies Act 2006.\n7. Restrictions on distributions.\nPart 23 of the Companies Act 2006.\n”.",
