# The Companies Act 2006 (Consequential Amendments etc) Order 2008, Paragraph 66: Companies Act 1985 (c.6)


In section 131(7) of the Companies Act 1985 (merger relief: definitions), in the definition of “arrangement” in the closing words, for “section 425 (company compromise with members and creditors)” substitute “section 899 of the Companies Act 2006 (court sanction for compromise or arrangement with creditors or members)”.
