# The Companies (Trading Disclosures) (Amendment) Regulations 2008, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Regulations laid before Parliament under sections 82(5) and 1290 of the Companies Act 2006 for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 82 and 1292(1)(a) of the Companies Act 2006.
In accordance with sections 82(5) and 1290 of the Companies Act 2006, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
