  "text": "Draft Regulations laid before Parliament under paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 2 to the European Communities Act 1972 and paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.\nExiting The European Union\nConsumer Protection\nMade ***\nComing into force in accordance with regulation 1(2) and (3)\nThe Secretary of State has been designated for the purposes of making regulations under section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to measures relating to consumer protection.\nThe Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 and section 8(1) of, and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018.\nA draft of these Regulations has been approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 2 to the European Communities Act 1972 and paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018.",
