# The Consumer Subscription Contracts (Cancellation and Information) Regulations 2026, Regulation 24: Cancellation period


A consumer’s right to cancel a subscription contract under section 263(2) of the DMCCA (the right to cancel for trader’s breach of a relevant implied term) may not be exercised after the end of the period of 12 months beginning with the day after the relevant date.
