# The Courts-Martial (Prosecution Appeals) Order 2006, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Order laid before Parliament under section 35(2) of the Armed Forces Act 2001, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament. This draft Statutory Instrument has been printed to correct a defect in the original draft and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State for Defence makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 31(3) of the Armed Forces Act 2001;
In accordance with section 35(2) of the Armed Forces Act 2001, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
