# The Criminal Justice (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, Regulation 22: Amendment of the Magistrates’ Courts Act 1980


(1) Section 19 of the Magistrates’ Courts Act 1980 (decision as to allocation) is amended as follows.
(2) In subsection (5)—
(a) at the end of paragraph (a), insert “or”;
(b) omit paragraph (aa).
(3) Omit subsection (5A).
