# The Crown Estate Scotland (Interim Management) Order 2017, Article 4: Governance and accountability


Crown Estate Scotland (Interim Management) must, so far as reasonably practicable, operate in a way which—
(a) is transparent and accountable; and
(b) is consistent with any other principle of good governance which appears to it to constitute best practice.
