# The Data Retention and Acquisition Regulations 2018, Paragraph 1


(1) The Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 is amended as follows.
(2) In section 77A (procedure for order of sheriff: Scotland)—
(a) in the heading, omit “23A or”;
(b) in subsection (1), omit “23A or”;
(c) in subsection (3), for “sections 23B and 32B” substitute “section 32B”.
(3) In section 77B (procedure for order of district judge: Northern Ireland)—
(a) in the heading, omit “23A or”;
(b) in subsection (1), omit “23A or”;
(c) in subsection (4)—
(i) omit “23A or”;
(ii) for “sections 23B and 32B” substitute “section 32B”.
