# The Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (Consequential Amendments and Transitional Provision) Regulations 2026, Regulation 3: Transitional provision: first chair of the Information Commission


In relation to the person to whom paragraph 2 of Schedule 14 to the 2025 Act applies—
(a) the amendment made by paragraph 4(b) of Schedule 2 does not apply;
(b) in the Superannuation Act 1972, in Schedule 1, under the italic heading “Offices”, the reference to “Information Commissioner” in the first place it occurs is to be read as a reference to “Chair of the Information Commission”.
