# The Deer (Firearms etc.) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2023, Article 2: Amendment of the Deer (Firearms etc.) (Scotland) Order 1985


(1) The Deer (Firearms etc.) (Scotland) Order 1985 is amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3).
(2) In article 3(a), for “100 grains (6.48 grams)” substitute “80 grains (5.3 grams)”.
(3) In article 5, for paragraph (b) substitute—
“(b) a sight of any type including light-intensifying, heat-sensitive or other special sighting device for night shooting.”.
