# The Dentists Act 1984 (Amendment) Order 2005, Article 35: Amendment of section 38


In section 38 (prohibition on practice of dentistry by laymen), in subsection (1), for the words from the beginning to “medical practitioner” substitute “A person who is not a registered dentist, a registered dental care professional or a visiting EEA practitioner entered in the list of such practitioners”.
