# The Department for Transport (Fees) Order 2009, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Order laid before House of Commons under section 102(5) of the Finance (No 2) Act 1987, for approval by resolution of that House.

Coming into force in accordance with Article 1
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 102(3) and (4) of the Finance (No.2) Act 1987.
In accordance with section 102(5) of that Act, a draft of this Order was laid before the House of Commons and approved by a resolution of that House.
