# The Detergents (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, Regulation 9: Amendment of Regulation (EC) No 648/2004


(1) Article 6 is amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph 1—
(a) in the words before the first indent—
(i) for “Commission”, substitute “competent authority”;
(ii) omit “in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 12(2), and”;
(b) in the third indent, for “Community”, substitute “United Kingdom”.
(3) Omit paragraphs 2 and 3.
(4) In paragraph 4—
(a) for “Commission”, substitute “competent authority”;
(b) for “in Annex VI the”, substitute “a”.
