Regulation 6 First diagnosis of diffuse mesothelioma and specified payments

(1)

For the purposes of sections 2 and 3 of the Act (eligible people with diffuse mesothelioma and eligible dependants) and of these Regulations—

(a)

the meaning of “first diagnosed” is to be determined in accordance with Schedule 1 to these Regulations; and

(b)

“specified payment” means a payment specified in Schedule 2 to these Regulations.
