# The Digital Waste Tracking (Scotland) Regulations 2026, Regulation 17: Penalties for offences


An offence under regulation 15 or 16 is punishable—
(a) on conviction on indictment, by a fine,
(b) on summary conviction, by a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum.
