  "text": "(1) The existing wards of the parish of Spennymoor are abolished.\n(2) The parish is divided into six wards named respectively—\n(a) Byers Green;\n(b) Low Spennymoor and Tudhoe Grange;\n(c) Merrington;\n(d) Middlestone;\n(e) Spennymoor;\n(f) Tudhoe.\n(3) Each ward comprises the area designated on the map by reference to the name of the ward.\n(4) Six councillors are to be elected for each of the following wards:\n(a) Low Spennymoor and Tudhoe Grange;\n(b) Spennymoor.\n(5) Four councillors are to be elected for each of the following wards:\n(a) Middlestone;\n(b) Tudhoe.\n(6) One councillor is to be elected for each of the following wards:\n(a) Byers Green;\n(b) Merrington.",
