# The Electoral Registration Pilot Scheme (Scotland) Order 2017, Article 2: Interpretation


In this Order—
“2001 Regulations” means the Representation of the People (Scotland) Regulations 2001;
“annual canvass” means the annual canvass required by section 9D(1) of the Representation of the People Act 1983.
