# The Electric Vehicles (Smart Charge Points) Regulations 2021, Paragraph 7: Ease of use


(1) A relevant charge point must be configured so as to minimise the inputs required from the owner in connection with the set-up and operation of the charge point.
(2) A relevant charge point must be configured so that any personal data can be deleted from it by the owner without undue difficulty.
