# The Electricity Capacity (Supplier Payment etc.) Regulations 2014, Paragraph 6: Penalty residual supplier amount


(1) The Settlement Body must, as soon as reasonably practicable after the end of a delivery year (“year X”), calculate for each electricity supplier (“S”) the penalty residual supplier amount (“PRSAsx”) which is due to S in respect of year X.
(2) PRSAsx must be calculated in accordance with the formula—
PRS A sx =( TP R x − ∑ i OD P ix )× CMSC P sx ∑ s CMSC P sx .
(3) In paragraph (2)—
“CMSCPsx” means the total amount of capacity market supplier charges paid by S in respect of year X;
“∑iODPix” means the sum of the amounts calculated under paragraph 7(1)(c) of Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations for all relevant CMUs (within the meaning given in that paragraph) for year X;
“TPRx” means the total amount of capacity market penalty charge payments received by the Settlement Body under the Principal Regulations in respect of year X.
