Draft Regulations laid before Parliament under sections 6(8) and 40(5) of the Energy Act 2013 and section 15(7) of the Nuclear Energy (Financing) Act 2022, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2)

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6(1) and (6), 9(1) and (2), 27, 30, and 40(1) of the Energy Act 2013^f1; and sections 15(1) and (5) and 19(1) and (2) of the Nuclear Energy (Financing) Act 2022^f2.

The Secretary of State has before making these Regulations—

1. (a)

   consulted the persons listed in sections 24(1) and 40(2) of the Energy Act 2013 and section 25(1) of Nuclear Energy (Financing) Act 2022, and

2. (b)

   had regard to the matters in section 5(2) of the Energy Act 2013.

A draft of this instrument was laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with sections 6(8) and 40(5) of the Energy Act 2013 and section 15(7) of the Nuclear Energy (Financing) Act 2022.
