  "text": "Draft Order laid before Parliament under paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 2 to the European Communities Act 1972 and paragraph 26 of Schedule 2 to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.\nFinancial Services And Markets\nElectronic Communications\nMade ***\nComing into force in accordance with article 1(2)\nThe Treasury are designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to information society services.\nIn the opinion of the Treasury, one of the effects of the following Order is that an activity which is not a regulated activity (within the meaning of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000) will become a regulated activity.\nThe Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 and section 22(1) and (5) of, and paragraph 25(1)(b) of Schedule 2 to, the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, make the following Order.\nIn accordance with paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 2 to the European Communities Act 1972 and paragraph 26 of Schedule 2 to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, a draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.",
