  "text": "(1) Decision No 585/2014/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 on the deployment of the interoperable EU-wide eCall service is amended as follows.\n(2) In Article 1—\n(a) in paragraph 1—\n(i) for “Member States” substitute “The Secretary of State”;\n(ii) for “on their territory” substitute “in the United Kingdom”;\n(iii) omit the words from “at least six months” to “2017”;\n(iv) omit “interoperable EU-wide”;\n(b) in paragraph 2—\n(i) for “each Member State”, in both places where it occurs, substitute “the Secretary of State”;\n(ii) for “its emergency services” substitute “emergency services in the United Kingdom”;\n(iii) for “its needs” substitute “the needs of the United Kingdom”;\n(iv) for “recognised by it” substitute “recognised by the Secretary of State”;\n(c) in paragraph 3, for “Member States” substitute “The Secretary of State”.\n(3) In Article 2—\n(a) for “Member States” substitute “The Secretary of State”;\n(b) omit “EU-wide”.\n(4) Omit Article 3.\n(5) In Article 4—\n(a) for “Member States” substitute “The Secretary of State”;\n(b) for “their territory” substitute “the United Kingdom”.\n(6) Omit Articles 5 and 6.",
