# The Environmental Authorisations (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2025, Paragraph 35: Regulation (EC) No. 1069/2009


In article 24(1) (approval of establishments or plants) of Regulation (EC) No. 1069/2009 of the of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 laying down health rules as regards animal by-products and derived products not intended for human consumption and repealing Regulation (EC) No. 1774/2002, for “the Pollution Prevention and Control (Scotland) Regulations 2012” in both places it appears substitute “a permit or registration to operate under the Environmental Authorisations (Scotland) Regulations 2018”.
