Paragraph 19 Refusal of applications

SEPA must refuse to grant an authorisation for a radioactive substances activity unless the activity has been found to be justified within the meaning of the phrase “found to be justified” given in regulation 4(4) of the Justification of Practices Involving Ionising Radiation Regulations 2004^f1.
