Section 29^f1 is amended as follows.

In subsection (9), omit the words “, subject to subsection (10) below,”.

Omit subsection (10).

After subsection (11), add—

“(12)

“The 2007 Regulations” means the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2007.

The following expressions have the same meaning as in the 2007 Regulations—

• “environmental permit”;

• “exempt waste operation”;

• “waste operation”.”.
