# The Environmental Protection (Microbeads) (England) Regulations 2017, Regulation 6: Enforcement


(1) The regulator may authorise any person to exercise, for an authorised purpose and in accordance with the terms of the authorisation, any of the powers specified in regulation 8, if that person appears to the regulator suitable to exercise them.
(2) An authorisation under paragraph (1) must be in writing.
(3) In this Part, “enforcement officer” means a person authorised under paragraph (1).
