# The Field Allowance for New Oil Fields Order 2010, Article 5: Water depth


For the purpose of article 3(3), the depth is to be measured at the lowest astronomical tide from the water surface to the lowest point of the natural seabed at the location of the primary subsea manifold or first development well whichever is the deeper.
