# The Financial Assistance Scheme Regulations 2005, Regulation 5: Scheme manager


(1) The financial assistance scheme established by these Regulations shall be managed by the Secretary of State.
(2) References in these Regulations—
(a) to the scheme manager are to the Secretary of State acting in his capacity as manager of the financial assistance scheme;
(b) to the Secretary of State are to the Secretary of State acting other than in that capacity.
