Regulation 6 Funding

(1)

Any payments which are required to be made in accordance with these Regulations shall be paid out of a fund which is held, managed and applied by the scheme manager (“the fund”).

(2)

The Secretary of State shall pay amounts into the fund out of monies provided by Parliament.

(3)

The Secretary of State may pay other amounts into the fund where he—

(a)

is notified in writing that a person wishes to pay an amount into the fund;

(b)

is of the opinion that that amount can be paid into the fund; and

(c)

receives that amount.
