  "text": "(1) This Schedule applies for the purposes of determining the amount of an annual payment or of an initial payment payable to or in respect of qualifying members of qualifying pension schemes.\n(2) In this Schedule—\n“the certification date” means the date in respect of which the trustees or managers of the qualifying pension scheme have certified that the information relating to the qualifying member’s actual pension is correct;\n“guaranteed minimum pension” has the meaning given in section 8(2) of the 1993 Act;\n“scheme rules” means the rules of the qualifying pension scheme.\n(3) Paragraphs 2 to 5 are subject to paragraphs 6 to 9.",
