  "text": "(1) The Building Societies (Merger Notification Statement) Regulations 1999 are amended as follows.\n(2) In the following provisions, for “Authority” substitute “appropriate authority”—\n(a) regulation 2, in the definition of “date of the merger notification statement”;\n(b) paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Schedule.",
