  "text": "(1) In the provisions listed in paragraph (2)—\n(a) for “Authority” substitute “FCA”; and\n(b) for “Authority’s” substitute “FCA’s”.\n(2) The provisions are—\n(a) section 1(1)(a) (societies which may be registered) as in force immediately before this Order comes into effect;\n(b) section 1(2) and (3) as substituted by section 1 of the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies and Credit Unions Act 2010;\n(c) section 2 (registration of society);\n(d) section 5 (name of society);\n(e) section 7A(7) (capacity of society not limited by its rules);\n(f) section 10 (amendment of registered rules);\n(g) section 16 (cancellation of registration of society);\n(h) section 17 (suspension of registration of society);\n(i) section 18 (appeal from refusal, cancellation or suspension of registration of society or rules);\n(j) section 39(1) (annual returns);\n(k) section 39A (year of account (existing registrations));\n(l) section 39B(7) (year of account (new registrations));\n(m) section 43 (duties of receiver or manager of society’s property);\n(n) section 44(4) (register of members and officers);\n(o) section 47 (inspection of books);\n(p) section 48 (production of documents and provision of information for certain purposes);\n(q) section 49 (appointment of inspectors and calling of special meetings);\n(r) section 50(4) (amalgamation of societies);\n(s) section 52 (conversion into, amalgamation with, or transfer of engagements to company);\n(t) section 53 (conversion of company into registered society);\n(u) section 59 (restriction on dissolution or cancellation of registration of society);\n(v) section 72 (form, deposit and evidence of documents);\n(w) section 74(2) (interpretation); and\n(x) section 76 (Northern Ireland societies).",
