# The Financial Services Act 2012 (Mutual Societies) Order 2018, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Order laid before Parliament under section 116(1) and (2) of the Financial Services Act 2012, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.

Coming into force 6th April 2018
The Treasury make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 50(1), (2) and (4), 51, 52, 115(2) and 118 of the Financial Services Act 2012.
A draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with section 116(1) and (2) of the Financial Services Act 2012.
