  "text": "Draft Order laid before Parliament under paragraph 26 of Schedule 2 to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 2 to the European Communities Act 1972, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament.\nFinancial Services And Markets\nMade ***\nComing into force in accordance with article 1\nThe Treasury are a government department designated for the purpose of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to financial services.\nIn accordance with paragraph 26 of Schedule 2 to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 2 to the European Communities Act 1972, a draft of this Order has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House.\nThe Treasury are of the opinion that one of the effects of the proposed order would be that an activity which is not a regulated activity would become a regulated activity.\nThe Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 22(1), (1A) and (5) and 428(3) of, and paragraph 25 of Schedule 2 to, the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, make the following Order:",
