# The Financing of Maintained Schools Regulations 1998, Regulation 24: Schools' budget shares not to be the provision of a benefit or service


For the purposes of section 295 of the 1996 Act (provision of benefits and services by local education authorities) the determination or redetermination of a school’s budget share in accordance with this Part shall not constitute the provision of a benefit or service for pupils or other persons at schools.
