Regulation 6 Employees of the Authority
(1)
The Authority must employ a chief executive who must be responsible to the Board for carrying out the Authority’s functions and the management of its employees.
(2)
The Board may only appoint a chief executive—
(a)
with the consent of the Secretary of State; and
(b)
on terms and conditions approved by the Secretary of State.
(3)
The Authority may employ such other employees as it thinks fit on terms and conditions determined by the Board and approved by the Secretary of State.
