  "text": "In Article 2, in paragraph 1—\n(a) in point (d), omit “of a Member State”;\n(b) for point (g), substitute—\n“(g) “potable water” means—\n(i) as regards England, water meeting the requirements laid down in the Private Water Supplies (England) Regulations 2016;\n(ii) as regards Wales, water meeting the requirements laid down in the Private Water Supplies (Wales) Regulations 2017;\n(iii) as regards Scotland, water meeting the requirements laid down in the Water Intended for Human Consumption (Private Supplies) (Scotland) Regulations 2017;\n(iv) as regards Northern Ireland, water meeting the requirements laid down in the Private Water Supplies (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2017;”;\n(c) after point (o), insert—\n“(p) “Food Safety Authority” means—\n(i) as regards England, Wales and Northern Ireland, the Food Standards Agency;\n(ii) as regards Scotland, Food Standards Scotland;\n(q) “prescribed” means prescribed by regulations;\n(r) “appropriate authority” means—\n(i) in relation to England, the Secretary of State;\n(ii) in relation to Wales, the Welsh Ministers;\n(iii) in relation to Scotland, the Scottish Ministers;\n(iv) in relation to Northern Ireland, the Northern Ireland devolved authority;\n(s) “Northern Ireland devolved authority” means the Department of Health.”.",
