Regulation 24 Request for further information

The Food Standards Agency may request that the applicant provides further information, including evidence, in support of their application, if required, as part of the verification under regulation 20(7)(b) or regulation 23(1)(b).

Where the Food Standards Agency has requested further information under paragraph (1), the applicant must provide that information within the time period specified by the Food Standards Agency in the request.

If the further information requested under paragraph (2) is not provided within the time period specified by the Food Standards Agency, the application is to be treated as withdrawn and the Food Standards Agency must advise the applicant accordingly.
