Regulation 41 Powers of entry and inspection - supplementary provisions

An inspector may be accompanied by such other persons as the inspector considers necessary in carrying out their functions under this Part.

An inspector who, under regulation 39, enters any premises which are unoccupied or from which the occupier is temporarily absent must leave the premises as effectively secured as they were before entry.

The owner or occupier of the premises or such other person in control of the premises, or the employee or agent of the owner or occupier or person in control of the premises, must provide such assistance as the inspector may reasonably require.
