In these Regulations, a notice or other document—

(a)

is to be given or issued in writing which includes by electronic means;

(b)

is, if the sender receives a dated confirmation of receipt from the intended recipient, either through an automated email response if received by email or by otherwise sending an email acknowledgement of receipt to the sender, to be treated as being received.
