# The Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Regulations 2025, Regulation 55: Revocation


(1) The Genetically Modified Organisms (Deliberate Release) Regulations 2002 are amended as follows—
(a) in regulation 2, omit the definition of “qualifying higher plant”;
(b) in regulation 9, for the heading substitute “Exempt Activities”;
(c) omit regulations 9A, 9B and Schedule 3A;
(d) in regulation 34, omit paragraph (1A);
(e) in regulation 35, omit paragraph (A1).
(2) The Genetically Modified Organisms (Deliberate Release) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2022 are revoked.
