# The Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Regulations 2025, Paragraph 11: Amendment to Regulation (EU) No 1143/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the prevention and management of the introduction and spread of invasive alien species


(1) Regulation (EU) No 1143/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the prevention and management of the introduction and spread of invasive alien species is amended as follows.
(2) After Article 2(2)(b), insert—
“(ba) in relation to England, precision bred plants within the meaning of section 1, as read with section 2(1), of the Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Act 2023;”.
