# The Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Regulations 2025, Paragraph 12: Amendment to Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and of the Council on novel foods, etc


(1) Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and of the Council on novel foods, etc. is amended as follows.
(2) After Article 2(2)(a), insert—
“(aa) within England, food produced from precision bred plants within the meaning of section 1, as read with section 2(1), and section 30(2), of the Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Act 2023;”.
