Paragraph 9 Amendment to Regulation (EU) No 649/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the export and import of hazardous chemicals (recast)

Regulation (EU) No 649/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the export and import of hazardous chemicals (recast)^f1 is amended as follows.

After Article 2(2)(g), insert—

“(ga)

in relation to England, precision bred plants.”;

After Article 3(26), insert—

“27

‘precision bred plant’ has the same meaning as in section 1, as read with section 2(1), of the Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Act 2023.”.
