# The Grants to the Churches Conservation Trust Order 2006, Introduction: Introductory text


Draft Order laid before the House of Commons for approval by resolution of that House under section 1(4) of the Redundant Churches and other Religious Buildings Act 1969.

The Secretary of State, with the approval of the Treasury, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(1), (2) and (3) of the Redundant Churches and other Religious Buildings Act 1969 and now vested in her ;
In accordance with section 1(4) of that Act, a draft of this instrument was approved by a resolution of the House of Commons.
